The thirteenth conference of the Department of Neurology at Mansoura University was held.
The thirteenth conference of the Department of Neurology at Mansoura University took place from Tuesday to Thursday, October 22-24, 2024, over three consecutive days. The conference addressed new developments in various fields of neurology and included practical workshops on the first two days to train doctors in treating stiffness, using ultrasound for neurological diseases, as well as electroencephalography (EEG), electromyography (EMG), and nerve conduction studies. These training activities were held at the three medical centers.
The conference was held under the patronage of Professor Sherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, and Professor Tarek Ghaloush, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, with the presence of Professor Ashraf Shouma, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and Professor Shaarawy Kamal, Executive Director of University Hospitals, and was chaired by Professor Ibrahim El-Menshawi, Head of the Department of Neurology. Professor Khaled El-Toukhy, Deputy Director of the three medical centers and a professor of neurology, participated by conducting a training workshop for doctors on treating stiffness with Botox injections using ultrasound, along with a lecture on the latest developments in migraine treatment.
