On Monday, corresponding to ١٩/٢/٢٠٢٤ A delegation from the World Stroke Organization visited the three medical centers, and the visitors were headed by Prof. Sheila Martens, president of the World Stroke Organization. the delegation inspected all the units of the Department of Neurology (Neuro-intervention unit - nervous system physiology unit and outpatient clinics). the delegation also inspected the diagnostic radiology department of the Centers. the delegation then moved to the main hospital to visit the radiology department and the neurology department and then visit the emergency hospital in preparation for the adoption of the stroke unit from the organization as one of the approved units for the treatment of stroke patients worldwide.

The delegation was accompanied during the visit by Prof. Ibrahim Al-Menshawi - head of the department of neurology, Prof. Wael Zakaria - director of the three medical centers, Prof. Khaled Al-tukhi - professor of neurology and deputy director of the Centers and a group of faculty members in the Department of neurology, the department of diagnostic radiology and the department of rheumatology and rehabilitation.
