Holding a seminar on the role of the safe women's unit in combating violence against women within the framework of the events of the celebration of the International Day of Violence against women
Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sherif Khater - president of Mansoura University, and Prof. Dr. Ashraf Shoma - dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Mansoura University, and Prof .Dr. Wael Zakaria - director of the three medical centers, in cooperation with the Directorate of Health Affairs in Dakahlia and in the presence of: Prof. Dr. Nasrin Omar-former dean of the Faculty of Medicine and member of the House of Representatives, Prof. Dr. Ghada al-qunaishi - vice dean of the Faculty of medicine for Community Affairs and Environmental Affairs Service, Prof. Dr. Al-Shaarawi Kamal-executive director of University Hospitals, Prof. Dr. Hiyam Fathy - supervisor of psychological support in the women's safe unit, Prof. Dr. Sahar Abdulaziz Al-dakrouri - Professor of Forensic Medicine and former head of the department at Mansoura Medical College and director of the Toxicology Unit at the University Emergency Hospital, and guests of the Directorate of Health Affairs: Dr. Iman Salameh Mohammed al-Azab - director of the Department of maternal and child care at the Directorate of Health Affairs in Dakahlia, Dr. Fatima Abdel Rahman Mohammed Rizk - director of the Department of health culture at the Directorate of Health Affairs in Dakahlia, in the presence and supervision of Mr. Ayman Zaky - financial and administrative director of the three medical centers.
Within the framework of the activities of the celebration of the International Day of violence against women in the three medical centers and the family of the Safe Women unit, a seminar was held on 30/11/2023 on the role of the Safe Women unit in combating violence against women and the role of each of the departments in cooperation with it (psychology, forensic medicine) to provide the best service to battered women to reach the highest percentage of recovery and exchange opinions and experiences between both the Safe Women unit of Mansoura Medical College and members of the Directorate of Health Affairs team in Dakahlia.
